My journey started in Bosnia, where I grew up before war changed everything. In 1994, my family and I moved to Berlin, Germany, and in 2001, at just 19 years old, I found my way to Grand Rapids, Michigan, searching for a better life. Along the way, I embraced three languages—English, Bosnian, and German—and a world of experiences that have shaped me into who I am today. One of my proudest moments was becoming a U.S. citizen in 2011. This country has given me the opportunity to pursue my dreams and turn my passion into a career. Being a hairstylist, nail tech, and makeup artist isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. If I couldn’t create beauty for a living, I honestly don’t know what else would bring me this much joy. It’s in my blood. When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me spending time with my family and our little zoo—three loving pit bulls and 2 frenchies and a tabby cat. Life at home is full of love (and a little bit of chaos!), but I always find time to unwind with a good mystery book, a hot cup of black coffee, or my watercolor paints. Over the past 28 years, this industry has taught me so much—patience, personal growth, and the power of helping others feel confident in their own skin. I truly believe that when you love the way you look, it transforms the way you feel. Whether you’re craving something subtle or bold, I’m here to bring your vision to life with a customized style that celebrates who you are. There’s something so rewarding about knowing I can change someone’s entire day—just by helping them see the beauty that was there all along. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy & Directions We're located at 3514 Plainfield, Suite C, Grand Rapids Michigan 49525. (Same building as Real Food Cafe, facing Plainfield) You can park right in the front of the salon. If you have any questions , feel free to email me at smhair3514@yahoo.com Late Arrival Policy If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please notify me. Scheduled services may need to be modified to fit the remaining appointment time without change to price, or may be rescheduled, if arriving more than 15 minutes late. Cancelation/Rescheduling Policy Please give 48 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will incur a Rebooking Fee of $95. Rebooking Fee will collected in full before an appointment can be rescheduled or moved.
